For a rapid growing office, placed in Hamburg City, we are searching for Trade Manager – Intra Europe, to become part of a qualified and dynamic team. Offering and coordinating a high standard of full line services for Europe and intercontinental.
Be part of the success as a
Trade Manager - IntraEurope (m,f,x)
- Attending to any kind of requests of European agents related to Intra Europe Trade, e. g. concerning rates, special cargoes, regulations, routes, freetime
- Assisting agents to maintain relations with customers, to develop new customers and to strengthen relations with VIP customers
- Attending to tender requests related to IET
- System maintenance (input of guidelines, surcharges, checking RI etc.)
- Obtaining and compiling market reports and statistics and analyzing the cargo flow
- Watching space utilization on the individual loops and on specific vessels in order to take actions to improve situation
- Issuing of Marketing and Sales procedures, guidelines and strategies as guidance for European Agents to support the regional marketing, sales and cargo canvassing
- Watching container surplus/shortage situation within European area in order to take actions to improve situation
- Yield management of trade lanes and data analysis to support marketing and sales.
- (a few years) work experiences relevant to the task
- Ideally training as a shipping agent
- Very good communication and analytical skills
- Fluent written and spoken English, another european language is an advantage
- A varied field of tasks to be worked on independently with excellent opportunities for development in a multicultural-mixed team
