Our client is a successfully operating international Freight forwarding company including over 25.000 employees and 300 Branches. This owner managed company is specialized in segment  fields of  Air & Sea Freight as well as warehousing and food logistics.

Head of Sales (m/f) - Northern China
Ihre Aufgaben:


You`ll have overall responsibility for the Sales & Marketing actions in Northern China and work closely with respective offices in developing and control activities throughout Sales Budget and Trade Lane agreement

  • Responsible for Top Sales turnover and development (target based) for air & sea freight and Contract logistics
  • Monitor & coach the sales team - expand capabilities and build sales managers in the organization
  • Plan and implement Sales and Marketing strategies for Northern China
  • Help establish development and implementation short and long term business plans for the company to oversee preparation of divisional sales budgets
  • Plan and lead the direction of the department to deliver quality, timely and successful responses to RFQs to ensure that transportation concepts and value added services can be offered
  • Anticipate and effectively deal with the Country Management and inform about market and customer trends that could enhance the organization’s opportunities or adversely impact business results
  • Grow meaningful KPIs and monitor the success for the sales team
  • Establish periodical reports and statistics for the Country Management
  • Contribute to the identification of specific business opportunities and participate in development of new or modified service offerings
  • Interface with other departments to ensure a smooth working relationship
  • Ensure sales contracts and indicate clear payment terms which helps to collect accounts receivables if needed
  • Represent the company in business associations
  • Travel the region and inter-continental as and when required
  • Give a quality image of his/her belonging to the company`s Enthusiasm, Professionalism, Straight forwardness
  • Any other additional task and duties as required by the Managing Director
Ihr Profil:
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • More than 8 years forwarding experience and at least 5 years management experience
  • Business development spirit
  • Financial results spirit
  • Teamwork and co-operation skills
  • Facilitation and management skills
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Creative problem solving ability
  • High integrity
  • Good Microsoft office operation skills
  • Fluent English, both in written and speaking
